Illustrative: I personally enjoy reading books in this format. You will agree with me that those run-on texts tend to be boring sometimes. However, despite how dull the topic might be, a couple of illustrative diagrams and tables will make it swift in the tongue and mind. Encyclopedia of Physical Science is written with reasonable numbers of aptly placed tables, diagrams and artists’ renditions which makes it more concise, easy to read and comprehensive.

Glossary and appendicitis: It ends with a substantial reference point spanned across the chronology, glossary, astronomical data, abbreviations, further study resources and the periodic table of elements. To be sure you are reading the right materials, preceding the entry are a list of “Entries categorized by National Science Education Standards for Content developed for Grades 9-12 and recommended for high school, college and public libraries.

Pictorial diagrams and photos: Color is a mode of expression. The color integration with the included photos and illustrations make them more appealing even among the voluminous texts.  It makes the work more interesting while helping to effectively interpret certain aspects of the topic – when the right color is used in the right place.

Maybe a journey through the history of science will lay more emphasis on this clouded conception and perhaps, help us find our footsteps. In an attempt to guide you through this journey, Henry Smith Williams, a Greek doctor and lawyer, published his A History Of Science, a comprehensive approach to the discovery of the answers to our long asked questions.

A history of science spans across several volumes but was originally published in 1904. It was thoroughly written to provide the needed insights to the true understanding of science and its applications in our society; starting from the individual conceptions of the ancient scientists to the well proven scientific theories, methodologies and applications visible in our society today. A history of science was a great read for me. I learnt a lot myself and was glad I did pick this book in the first place. What I enjoyed most about the work is how the author tried to present every bit of the information without being doctored. This, I have appreciated as it helped me see the clouded vision of the early scientific discoveries. However, some people refer to the statements in this book as being assumptions with no clear evidence, but that doesn’t take away the fact that it is a great eye-opener that I am sure you will appreciate.

With the copy-free and clearly reproducible feature of this work, any artist or perhaps interested individual can scan and use any engraved art for any purpose. However, with over 600 pages of clip arts, it can be a bit difficult to have a perfect scan with the book. However, many people who have tried it, said it worked when they has to cut out close to the binding on the pages they needed to scan. You can re-attached this after scanning if you like or perhaps have the book re-bind with spiral which while making it more easier to flip and scan will even make it more durable.

The truth be told, I saw this book in a friend’s house and chose it over his family photo album. Of course nobody could flip such a voluminous work with captivating illustrations that can have you staring for minutes on a single page. I decided to get myself a copy. Now I don’t even remember whether I bought it for myself or my children as I have to fetch the book from their room almost every evening. I have been going through the engraving on natural History subject and the ethnological offerings and already feeling like I should hurry myself more to feed my eye with what is offered in other pages. In a nutshell, it is a work of well done illustrations; fun, educational and inspirational to use.

And the good thing is, your kid won’t need to wait for class sessions to actually grow his or her scientific horizon and understanding, they are being safely guided towards the discovery of their curiosity.

Additionally, to help promote understanding and encourage further delve into science, the everything kid’s science experiment book is written in groups to help promote understanding and help users to be more organized. For instance, the Acids, in the Chemistry section and many others can help your kids to know exactly where each question or experiment belongs while gaining the most he/she can.

Is This Book Good For Your Kid?

Is your child aspiring to be a doctor, an astronaut or perhaps just a pupil who hasn’t defined his/her path in life? Everybody deserves a fair understanding of the universe. Don’t just think the everything kid’s experiment book is a fun book created for children alone. While it contains some child-like characters meant to make it more interesting, attractive and encouraging for children, it is a book that most parents or better put, adults have also gained a wealth of knowledge from. As an example, I personally tried out one experiments from the book, which emanated from the question: “how do you peel a raw egg?” Now are you not interested? The education you are giving your child does not only lie in the pages of historical books and connectional publications he or she can read and remember but also on those factual statements he can actually prove and find an  answer to. This is the basis of the technological advancements we are all thankful for today and you can either acquit your child to nourish his/her curiosity about humans and their environment or leave him to wallow in passed-on believes that he will forever be enslaved with. I love the everything kid’s science book and almost every kid or parent that set their eye on this book does. Unfortunately, I am yet to read a bad comment or review about it… kudos to Tom Robinson!
