Logos’ father is trying to teach him the importance of obedience to help him through his life. However, in the story, a mysterious black dog, Lu C. Furr is trying to temp Logos to go into an unprotected territory, which Logos’ father has told him not to enter. Now, Logos needs to decide whether he should obey his father or follow the mischievous black dog. The book also teaches children about the real lessons of obeying God and helps them recognize the presence of temptations in everyday life and the fact that not everything is always better on the other side.
Children are interested by this particular story because Logos is also a playful character that seems like a kid. Logos and Obedience: Listening to His Father’s Voice is an exciting book that children can read by themselves or with their parents. Children are easily drawn into the story because they are keen to find out what Logos finally decides to do.
